IQ-M (Move) Automated Furnace Movement Quench System
The IQ-M is a specialised quenching system in which the sample remains stationary throughout the entire process. Rapid cooling is achieved by moving the furnace away from the sample, making this solution particularly suitable for sensitive or safety-critical applications.

The sample remains in a fixed position inside the work tube throughout the entire process.
A key feature of the system is the ability to move the furnace away from the sample automatically at a user-defined point in time. This can take place immediately after heating, after a defined holding time at a defined temperature, or after cooling to a specified target temperature.
As a result, the stationary sample is rapidly exposed to a cooler environment as the furnace moves away. This enables very fast cooling, even under controlled atmosphere such as high vacuum.
The furnace is moved automatically by an electric drive integrated directly into the control system, ensuring precise positioning between the heating and quenching zones.
